A SPECIAL GIFT {kaisercraft & merly impressions}

hello crafty peeps!

today it is my turn over at MERLY IMPRESSIONS' blog and i would like to share my newest project with you. i used KAISERCRAFT’s Silver Bells collection {available at MERLY IMPRESSIONS online store} and this time i chose a silvery-pink colour palette!

"A SPECIAL GIFT"

to create my background i used KAISERCARD steel weave cardstock, which i altered with an edge stamp from the BLUBELLE clear stamps set and mini ink pad – PETAL PINK. for the second layer i used FROSTY pattern paper. i cut off 0.5 cm from each side of the pattern paper, ruffled the edges using PAPER DISTRESSER, hand-stitched the pinkish border and rolled up one of the corners. then i adhered the pattern paper to the steel cardstock using KAISERCRAFT 12mm double-sided tape

for the snowflake-like dimensional layer on top of the pattern paper, i used CHRISTMAS QUARTERS 12×12 stencil – the snowflakes square and TEXTURE PASTE. after the paste has dried i sprayed KAISERMIST spray ink – pink and red on top of all the layers.

for the layers under my picture i used COCONUT weave cardstock for the first one and different patter papers and die cut borders from the mini PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack. I adhered the different layers with MOUNTING foam tape and decorated the grey border with RHINESTONES – soft pink.

the title and subtitles are from the 12″ STICKER sheet

… and a sticker from the clear sticker sheet – SEASONS GREETINGS.

i fussy cut some more pink and grey foil baubles from the FOIL BAUBLES pattern paper and from the paper with the same pattern from the mini PAPER PAD, embossed them slightly and adhered them with MOUNTING foam tape to my page. to “hang” them i used RHINESTONE STRIPS – pink.

i die cut the snowflakes using COCONUT weave cardstock and decorative die – SNOWFLAKE.

to finish off my design i decorated my picture with die cuts from the mini PAPER PAD and the COLLECTABLES pack.

THANK YOU for stopping by today!

have a wonderful creative weekend!

hugs 'n smiles,
