little miss sunshine

hello scrappy friends!

today i want to share with you a layout i made as a present to a very dear friend of mine. i had a photo shoot with her baby {the sweetest little girl ever} where i made about 100 pictures:-) and then i had to choose one... you see my problem... the little angel was smiling all the time and she was such a lovely model, hence the title -  "little miss sunshine" - it fits her perfectly!

just look at her smiling face - isn't she a doll?!

to create my backgound i mixed lemongrass, tuscan sun and sunflower glimmer mist. i printed two pictures - black and white and coloured one to create the 3d effect of the photo.

for this layout i used the very COLOURFUL and BRIGHT "urban prairie" paper line from BASIC GREY, some PIRMA flowers and different punches and embellishments.

the title is written with scrapworks "flea market" scrapbook alphabet and i added green rhinestones.

the butterflies are cut from the "patchwork quilt" basic grey paper and the hearts are made with sew easy and dmc cotton tread.

the chipboard elements come from the same BASIC GREY collection. to create the paper stripes i used martha stewart deep edge punch "scroll heart" and ek success "button chain" large edger punch.

the pretty blossoms and the nice pearls are from PRIMA marketing, as are the rose leaves and the sculpture flowers.

i really hope my friend will enjoy her present!

and i hope you enjoyed today's post!

hugs 'n smiles,
Emmy
